Summary #2

After gaining another person in the house Albert Dussel who shares a room with Anne becomes annoying to Anne as everyone else in the house. As the new year approaches 1943, Jews are still being taken from their homes, planes constantly flying over Holland, bombs being dropped and all Anne can think about is she is grateful to be alive and hiding. Anne at this point always feels like she is being picked on by everyone else because she is the youngest and she tries not to show her emotions even though it does get to her. Fear keeps growing in the Secret Annexe someone tried to break into the warehouse keeping everyone on edge and six weeks later someone breaks into the warehouse stealing money, check books, and most important sugar coupons, everyone hiding thought it was the Germans about to discover their secret. By July daily air raids are normal but seem to be getting closer and closer, it is a daily routine that they hear shooting and bombs dropping. After the first year has passed Anne writes to her diary over everyones daily timetable in great detail and how it is overwhelming for everyone to get along, Annes is maturing as the days keep going on and at on point she writes to her diary that she fears they are going to be taken by Germans soon and ahe has a strong feeling about it, at Annes age she already has gut feelings and most gut feeling are right a girl so young had to grow up in fear on a daily basis. Anne has changed alot she has started her monthly and she seems more grown up when writing to her diary instead of just seeing her side to the story she stops to look at both sides and sees that many arguements that they have in the house are always one sided, Anne also begins to take an interest in Peter as he does to her and she tries to fight it but she cant help but like him and grow more curious about him.
